ChatSense is built with privacy as a default. We collect the minimum necessary to make the app work and we do not sell, share, or monetize your data.
We use an anonymous device identifier generated locally on your phone to authenticate API requests. We never collect your name, email, contacts, location, or any other personal information unless you explicitly provide it for a feature.
If you submit content (photos, text, etc.) for analysis, that content is sent to our backend and forwarded to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. The result is returned to your device. We do not store the input or output beyond what is needed to provide the result you see, and Anthropic processes inputs under their own privacy policy.
We use PostHog, a privacy-friendly product analytics tool, to understand how the app is used — for example which screens are opened and which features are tapped — so we can improve it. Analytics events are tied only to your anonymous device identifier, never to your name or contact details, and are never used for advertising. Session replay is disabled.
Subscription billing is handled by Apple's App Store and our subscription processor (RevenueCat). We receive only the anonymous identifier and subscription status; we never see your payment details.
Because we do not associate data with personal identity, there is no account to delete. Uninstalling the app removes the local device identifier. To request deletion of any incidental records, email hello@appventuresgg.com.
If we ever change what we collect, we'll update this page and post a notice in the app.
